I have worked as a theatre nurse for various different hospitals for over 30 years. I have enjoyed being self-employed as it offers me incomparable flexibility, better compensation and opportunities to work in a variety of different environments.
Along my own journey to becoming self-employed, I found that it was difficult to get started and to find work among the different hospitals. This is especially true if you are only working to pick up a few shifts here and there. Through my own experience working as a self-employed nurse, I created Carrie Care, an agency that helps connect healthcare workers to different hospitals throughout New Zealand.
My goal is to provide a service to you that helps you eliminate the hassles and hurdles of being self-employed so that you can enjoy all the benefits that comes with it.
We will provide our staff with a competitive pay, flexibility, and control over your own shifts. Whether you are looking for a few extra shifts or a full-time job we are able to help. At Carrie Care we understand the importance of family commitments, a social life and work- life balance. We work with you to create a schedule that is most suitable for you and match your expertise and preferences with the hospital's needs.
